Curved barbells are commonly used in rook, eyebrow and vertical lip piercings, and can also be used to make truly beautiful custom pieces of jewellery for navel piercings.

If you intend on using an attachment which needs to sit in a particular direction it may be worth custom ordering the piece of jewellery to ensure that it screws down as it should.
